Hi, I'm Megan

The face behind Morning Glory Photography.

The name holds deep meaning for me. In my family, September is a busy and beautiful month. It’s my birthday, my anniversary to my very best friend, and the month we celebrate our daughter, Noelle. Morning Glory is one of the flowers that represents September, making the name feel both personal and fitting.

Just like the season it represents, Morning Glory Photography is rooted in celebrating life’s meaningful moments for your family!

I am so glad you are here!

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University, where my work with adults with disabilities first sparked my love for photography. I found myself drawn to capturing personality and connection—using photos as a way to tell stories beyond words.

In April of 2025, I took a leap of faith and transitioned into photography full time. Today, I balance life as a photographer, a wife, and a mom of two—embracing the beautiful fullness that comes with it. Life is busy and beautiful.

Why Photography?

I love the feeling that comes from looking back through old photo albums—remembering the tiny details of my child as a newborn, the familiar comfort of my grandma’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon, the overwhelming rush of love on my wedding day. These are the moments photographs hold. These are the feelings everyone deserves to experience when they look back. Capturing that for you—honestly, intentionally, and with heart—is what I’m most passionate about.

Time is our most precious gift, quietly moving from one season to the next . The fleeting details, the in-between moments, the way life looks right now deserve to be remembered. Photography isn't just about today; it is about honoring every stage of life and preserving what once felt ordinary, but one day will feel priceless.
